This safety strap can be fitted to all slim or standard maglock
armature plates to ensure that the armature is retained to the
door in the event of bolt failure. It can either be pre-fitted or retro
fitted to existing installations.
The strap provides an un-obtrusive extra fixing in case the armature should ever come loose.
The strap can be used on any size armature by simply drilling an additional small hole in the armature plate and attaching the strap.
This maglock strap is designed to give the fitter peace of mind that – should their heavy maglock become dislodged – it will not fall and hurt passers-by or damage the equipment. Additionally, by holding the maglock up, it will ensure that wires should never become dangerously exposed.
